Staying in traditional Mongolian Yurts on the edge of the Natural
Causse du Quercy is an unforgettable experience. The intimacy
of a round tent, with an comfortable spacious room (over 30 square meters)
give you a sense of safety and freedom.
In the morning you will wake up by the singing of the birds.
Take a nice shower outside and a breakfast on the veranda. In the
evening you will enjoy a breathtaking starry sky and a relaxing silence.
The tents are due to wear and tear by weather conditions, built into
a large chalet, the Yurts have stone foundations with an isolated wooden floor. In between
the two Yurts there is a living room with a kitchen and a veranda.
On the mezzanine, overlooking the valley, you have one spare bedroom
with two beds.
You can rent Yurt A, up to 4 people, or Yurt B for 2 people, total of 6 people.
You have access to the sauna and a plunge pool and adjacent sun terrace with sun beds.
From the Yurts you can take a walk on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela
that leads to beautiful vistas and of the
Gorges du Lot and the Gorges du Cele. For the water lovers
there are opportunities for canoeing the rivers Lot and Cele (canoe is present) and fishing.
At five minutes away by car you will find Cajarc, a lively village on the River Lot.
Here you can obtain all daily needs like bakeries,
a medium sized supermarket, butchers, post office, a Saturday market, six restaurants
and an excellent wine tasting shop.
